John started his lacrosse experience in high school at Chaminade. While there, he first discovered the game and fell in love with it. He went on to play in college at the University of Mary Washington and was team captain in both his junior and senior years. He was voted to first-team all-conference in his last two years and player of the year his junior year. After college, John played club lacrosse as he wanted to stay involved in the sport. When his family moved to Three Village in 2008, his oldest daughter started playing for the town team. John believes that the passion and commitment of the community make the Three Village program stand out as one of the top programs on Long Island. He enjoys seeing a new player try lacrosse for the first time. John’s daughters both play lacrosse, one at Ward Melville High School and the other in 6th grade. He has had the pleasure of coaching his daughter’s team from 2nd to 8th grade and is honored to help the girls become better on and off the field.
