Wayne began playing lacrosse on the fields of Commack in 7th grade. While on varsity, Wayne was All-Division in 10th grade and All-County in 11th and 12th grade. From Commack, Wayne headed to Manhattan College where he played in NCAA Division I’s MAAC Conference. At Manhattan, he was recognized as a pre-season All-American and ultimately earned recognition as a member of MAAC’s All-Conference Team. Wayne was also team captain his senior year. Wayne coaches soccer, football, and lacrosse at the youth level, and he absolutely loves watching and cheering-on spirited competition. Wayne firmly believes that kids who play sports, and who have been taught good sportsmanship, leadership, and how to compete have an edge that sparks their success in everything they will encounter in their future!
